Omodos Gymnasium, Lemessos, Cyprus

Omodos Gymnasium is a small gymnasium located in the village of Omodos, which is about 35km north-west of Limassol. Currently in our school we have 104 pupils from the village of Omodos and the surrounding villages. The age range of the pupils is 12 to 17. A small number of pupils are children of immigrants mostly from Bulgaria and Romania. There is also a small number of pupils who come from poor families. Most of these pupils have to work after school with their parents in the fields or help their parents at home.

The role of our school in the project is to work and interact with the other participants in order exchange knowledge about the current evaluation process of students and teachers in our schools and how we can improve this process.
